DAY 3: SOARING EAGLES
ASANA: EAGLE POSE/GARUDASANA
BIBLE VERSE: But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31 NIV)
DEVOTION: Hope is defined as a feeling of expectation and or desire for a specific thing to happen. I have been praying to God to make a big change in my life to allow me to have more time with my family. I am a planner, thus I like to have control over all aspects of my life. Having a plan gives me a sense of security and it makes things more real. I recognize my struggle to let go by surrendering to God’s will is a fault that I often pray for God to lift. God shows me my path and in the liminal space, I begin to question the path and lose hope that it will come to fruition. Asking for gifts from God is easy, but being patient to allow God to work is not. He has shown me on many instances that he will never forsake me. There is nothing I’ve needed that he has not provided. Each day I challenge myself to surrender and keep my faith in God’s perfect plan. I know God will give me the strength to endure this race and and he will be waiting for me with open arms at the end of the finish line.
JOURNAL INSPIRATION: What is hope to you? Do you find it difficult to surrender God’s perfect plan for your life?
MEDITATION: When I am weak, God renew my strength.
