For a long time I have suffered with digestive issues which have led me to a gluten free lifestyle and there are no qualms about it….it has helped significantly. I do my best to stick to natural remedies for my tummy distress. Yesterday, I got a severe case of bloating before bedtime which was incredibly painful. I have found yoga to be one of the most effective remedies for my bloating. I truly notice a significant improvement when I practice thus allowing for deflation and release (;-) to take place. And my oh my, do I feel better. Here are six poses you can do to help with abdominal discomfort and aid in better digestion to get things back to their regularly scheduled program.

3. Seated Spinal Twist

5. Cat/Cow Pose
6. Child’s Pose
In addition to practicing yoga, I love to sip peppermint tea. I use Young Living Essential Oils and I dilute the peppermint vitality oil with coconut oil and rub it on my tummy or I make a peppermint tea with 2 drops of vitality peppermint oil in hot water with honey…so refreshing and tasty.
